Adult Protective Services Hotline:

Crisis intervention for elderly and dependent adult abuse. 877-477-3646

Al-Anon/Alateen:

Self-help support group for family and friends of problem drinkers/alcoholics. 888-425-2666.

Alcoholics Anonymous:

Voluntary, worldwide for men and women aiming to recover from alcoholism by sharing their experiences.

Break the Cycle:

Preventative education, free legal services, advocacy and support on issues on dating and domestic violence for ages 12 -22 yrs. : 310-286-3366.

California Youth Crisis Line:

24 hour crisis intervention counseling for youth ages 12-24 years and their families on a wide range of mental health, drug and alcohol, peer, family and relationship issues: 800-843-5200.

Cancer Survival Toolbox:

Self learning audio program to help people to develop important skills to better meet and understand the challenges of their illnesses.

Child Abuse Hotline:

Department of Children and Family Services for Los Angeles County. To report child abuse, please call 800-540-4000.

Codependents Anonymous:

Men and women whose common goal purpose is to develop healthy relationships.

Debtors Anonymous:

Men and women share their experience with hope that they solve their common problem and help others to recover from compulsive debting.

Eating Disorders Anonymous:

12-step help for anorexia, bulimia, binge eating and food and weight obsession.

Gamblers Anonymous:

Gamers Anonymous(OLGA):

Offers a virtual 12-step recovery program through this website.

Gov Benefits:

Official benefits website with information on over 1000 benefit and assistance programs.

Aggressive cancer caused primarily by the inhalation of dangerous asbestos fibers.

National Association Children of Alcoholics (NACOA):

Advocates for children and families affected by alcoholism and other drug dependencies M-F 8:30–5pm EST. 888-554-2627.

National Center / Missing / Exploit/ Children:

Acts as a clearing house on missing & exploited children. Accept calls from people who believe they have seen missing children. Also provides an online location (cyber tip line) for reporting internet child pornography, molestation, prostitution, internet related exploitation and child sex tourism. 800-843-5678.

National Domestic Violence Hotline:

24 hr emergency hotline, info for battered women and children. 800-799-7233.

Overeaters Anonymous:

Individuals who are recovering from compulsive overeating. 505-891-2664.

Poison Control Center:

S-Anon:

Suicide Hotline:

Victim Compensation Program (VCP):

Helps victims of violent crime and their loved ones. Victims can apply for compensation.
