My Journey To Becoming A Therapist

Growing up playing sports, I realized that many athletes did not have an outlet or someone they could confide in to help them through stressful situations. When my dad died, I had to lean on family and friends. Not having professional support later made me realize the importance of having a positive outlet like therapy and how it is a powerful tool that can assist people in their life. My life experiences are what has led me to become the Therapist I am today.

I Have A Passion For Helping Others In Their Life Journey

Being a Therapist is rewarding and an honor. I love supporting people on their journey to become healthier, more empowered and seeing them utilize positive coping strategies to assist themselves for a more satisfying life.

I have a natural ability to:

  • Understand your experiences
  • Help you identify what you are feeling
  • Collaborate with you to set goals and help you reach them
  • Inspire hope for getting better

People who know me often say that I am a good listener who can help you through difficult and stressful times.

Our Sessions Are Focused On You

Our sessions will provide you with the ability to feel safe and comfortable, allowing you to explore your thoughts, feelings, and goals and be in touch with yourself.

It’s important you are provided a non-judgemental space where you can be yourself and check in on your progress as we go. There isn’t a “one size fits all” approach to our therapy. Our sessions will fit your specific needs and concerns.

As A Therapist, I Embrace These Philosophies

  • I believe that there is no shame when you ask for help
  • Therapy should address your whole self – your mind, body, and spirit
  • I believe that sometimes small steps in the right direction end up being the biggest steps in the end
  • I believe that loving and accepting ourselves for who we are, is one of the most courageous things we can do
