Some of the most capable teams still struggle with the same things: leaders who react instead of respond, colleagues who misread each other, and stress that builds up until it shows up as conflict or burnout. Emotional Intelligence and Mindfulness are two of the most requested trainings we offer, because both address that gap directly, and both can be taught, practiced, and built on over time.
MICHELLE CAULEY trains executives and employees in Emotional Intelligence (EQ). At its core, EQ is the ability to recognize and manage emotion, both your own and everyone else’s. It’s a foundational skill, not an abstract one, and once a team builds it, the effects show up everywhere: in communication, decision-making, and how people actually work together. That shift can transform a company’s culture.
With MICHELLE’s expertise as a psychotherapist and EQ trainer, you’ll learn the five core competencies: self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship management, and sound decision-making.

Mindfulness at Work
Heidi Shaw, LCSW, leads one of our most requested sessions. She’s trained in Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) and teaches meditation. In this session, she shares practical, simple tools your team can use in the middle of a stressful day, not just in theory. No experience with mindfulness or meditation is needed.
We also offer a 90-minute signature session that combines Emotional Intelligence and Mindfulness in one presentation. It’s a strong fit for staff development days, conferences, and off sites. We can also tailor a combination to fit your organization’s specific needs.
How This Differs From Our Other Workshops
Our broader workshops and trainings cover many topics, from burnout to communication. This page is a focused, deeper offering built specifically around EQ and Mindfulness, the two trainings we’re asked for most often, on their own or combined into a single session.
How It’s Set Up
We offer a few formats, depending on your team’s needs:
On-Site Option
We offer both on-site and virtual sessions, for a single office or teams spread across locations.

That depends on what your team needs most right now. If communication and leadership are the priority, EQ is the stronger starting point. If stress and burnout are showing up more, Mindfulness may be the better fit. Many organizations choose our combined 90-minute session to get both in a single sitting.
No. Both trainings are built for people with no background in mindfulness, meditation, or emotional intelligence work. We meet your team where they are.
Either works. A single session can shift how a team talks about stress or communication almost immediately. For lasting change, some organizations choose a short series or an ongoing monthly option instead.
